NIRF INDIA RANKINGS-The ranking framework evaluates the institutions’ on five broad generic groups of parameters and ranks are assigned based on the total sum of marks scored in the sub parameters.

The India Rankings follow the culture of collection, compilation and curation of data required for rankings of Institutions and is sourced from applicant institutions and third party sources, Scopus (Elsevier science), Web of science (Clarivate analytics) for data on publications, citations and Highly cited papers, Derwent Innovation for patents data, and takes help from INFLIBNET to detect the aberrations, contradictions and inconsistencies in the data submitted by participating Higher Educational Institutions

Interpretation of data format, used in Data Capturing System (DCS) and the submission of institution data pertaining to their faculty, students, placements, infrastructure, expenditure on library, laboratories, equipment and operations etc., is a very important stage in the ranking process.

Institute for Academic Excellence (IAE) has been conducting awareness programs/workshops to Higher Educational Institutions on NIRF India Rankings, NAAC Assessment & Accreditation Process since 2019 and with the experience gained from the activities we have developed a software tool “NIRF INDIA RANKINGS- DATA ANALYSER” for recording and retrieving the institution’ data, submitted to the Data Capturing System (DCS) pertaining to their faculty, students, placements, infrastructure, expenditure on library, laboratories, equipment and operations etc

The tool can be used as a data analyzer for preparing the self analysis reports and to get the analytical reports on parameters, sub-parameters and the data elements.

• The reports provides the trends and patterns that are used for evaluating the scores in NIRF Ranking Framework.
• The data and its analytics can help in assessing the institution themselves against internal benchmarks and to make the gap analysis.
• Peer performance comparison from the top ranking institutions published by NIRF INDIA RANKINGS in the respective category.
